The General Manager of National Institute of Cultural and Creative Industries (INICC, IP), Roberto André Dove, appointed seven (7) new heads of different Organic Units on March 2, at the institution’s headquarters in Maputo. These include Noémia Quintas, Director of the Division of Creative Goods and Cultural Markets; Samuel Mubai, Head of the Autonomous Central Department of Administration and Finance; Eusébio Inguane, Head of the Autonomous Central Department of Human Resources; Jaqueline Bila, Head of the Personnel Management Section; Otília Saunda, Head of the Central Secretariat; Abílio Monjane, Head of the Department of Cultural Markets; and Gislaine Mucavele, Head of the Training and Social Welfare Section. The appointees assume their current positions following the termination of duties of the former heads of the aforementioned departments, with the exception of the Personnel Management, Training, and Social Welfare Sections, which were recently established. Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony, the General-Director of INICC, IP, Roberto Dove, urged the appointees to remain committed with their work and to uphold rigor in the performance of the duties entrusted to them. The Director further stated that the appointees should work towards the implementation of sector policies and the achievement of the targets set out in the institution’s plans and objectives. One of the key aspects considered in the selection of the new heads was the observance of gender equity, which the General- Director considers an act of utmost importance for both personal and institutional development and growth, encompassing all human resources within INICC,IP. It is worth noting that the heads of the various sectors now appointed are staff members of INICC, IP, who had already been performing technical and managerial roles.
